Julia Keswin

Julia is a sophomore at Riverdale Country School in New York City. In 2013 on a family trip to Kenya, Julia helped build a school for the girls of a rural village in the Maasai Mara region. Seeing the significance of her efforts, Julia felt compelled to continue helping advance girls’ education upon her return home. Thus the Hope and Chance Foundation was born.

When she is not leading the Hope and Chance Foundation, Julia is a passionate ski racer and soccer player.

Caroline Keswin

Caroline is a sophomore at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut. She was moved particularly to find a way to give back to her community after a family trip to Kenya, where she worked to build a school for girls in a local, rural village. She was humbled by the impact her and her family’s efforts had on the village and was inspired to do even more, upon returning to her own home.

When she is not running the Hope and Chance Foundation, Caroline dedicates her time to writing, playing ice hockey and soccer, and tutoring younger students at a local middle school.
